"It's not how much we do...but how much love we put into doing it!"

We are a small group of people trying to support a charity program run by one of our friend Praveen (Better known as Praveen Ji) in Kerala, India. The founder of this charity program was his father, Late Mr. Narayanan Kutty. After the demise of his father he took over the responsibility of running this program.

As part of the charity work, Praveen Ji is running a poor home, Saisevashram, situated in a small town, Kozhikode in Kerala; where he takes care of about 21 children and few senior citizens. He is making sure that all the basic needs like food, clothing, education etc are met for the kids. He himself is contributing time and money to ensure that this poor home is running smoothly. There are few small sources from which he is getting monetary help. We are one of such sources for Praveen Ji.

This group, now known as SavingKids was started by few friends in 2001, with a noble intention of raising funds for the above program. Soon the group got expanded with many near and dear joining the same. Now we are around 88 members, contributing a nominal amount every month towards the program.

On a rotational basis one among us administers this program. As part of this work, we keep clear account of the contributions made; update the latest happenings at the poor home; send reminders to all the members for payment; periodically update the web site etc.
